Support the Balderson Leadership Awards

The Balderson Leadership Project Awards were developed to recognize individuals and/or teams participating in Leadership Institutes and they are supported financially by the proceeds from an auction held each year at the National Public Health Leadership Development Network Conference.  If you would like to donate items for this auction please contact Diane Weber at weberdl@slu.edu.

The Balderson Lifetime and Support Awards are supported through the Balderson Memorial fund.  Donations to the Balderson Memorial Awards can be made through the CDC Foundation.  Established by Congress in 1992 as an independent, non-profit entity, the CDC Foundation is not a government agency or a part of CDC.  Because of its independent status, gifts to the CDC Foundation may be considered for tax deduction purposes.

Procedure for Donation by Mail:

• Make check payable to: CDC Foundation
• Note “Balderson Memorial Fund” on the check’s memo line and/or in the letter correspondence
• Mail to: CDC Foundation, Hurt Plaza, Suite 765, Atlanta, GA, 30303
• A receipt and letter of acknowledgement will be mailed to you

Procedure for Donation Online:

• Go to www.cdcfoundation.org
• Click on “Give Now”
• Enter in donation information
• Note in the “Additional Comments” text box that the donation is for the “Balderson Memorial Fund”

• You will receive an online response confirming donation and a receipt and letter of acknowledgement will be mailed to you
