The Northeast Public Health Leadership
Institute works with an advisory committee which prefers to operate without
by-laws.
Regional Institute for Health and Environmental Leadership
The Regional Institute for Health and Environmental
Leadership is advised by a Governing Board based in Colorado.
South Central Public Health Leadership Institute
South Central Public Health Leadership Institute
has an Advisory Board made up of key administrators from each of our partner
states, an alumnus and staff of the institute (director and co-director). The
board works informally, by consensus. There has not been a need for
strict policies. A facilitator from the Tulane University faculty helps the leadership
institute when new projects arise.
Southeast Public Health Leadership Institute
In 1997, the Southeast Public Health Leadership
Institute formed a steering committee and executive committee. The people on
this committee also serve on at least one subcommittee: budget and fundraising,
curriculum development, alumni affairs, academic relations, recruitment and admissions,
and evaluation. The steering committee has not developed by-laws or policies.
