How to apply for affiliate membership
Affiliate Member Organization/Individual Application Process:
To apply for Affiliate Member Organization/Individual status one of these three categories must be met:

  • organizations planning to or in the process of developing a public health leadership institute or program;
  • organizations interested in supporting public health leadership development and promoting linkages among public health leadership institutes/programs; and
  • individuals who are interested in public health leadership development and who want to keep apprised of developments in public health leadership.

Discipline Specific Leadership Institute Membership Process:
The Network recognizes a number of disciplines are involved in developing leadership institutes designed to address their specific leadership needs. Membership may be obtained by adhering to the guidelines needed for Full membership or Affiliate Membership.

Organizations interested in becoming Affiliate Members may apply by submitting a request in writing (by email, fax or mail) to the Network Executive Committee indicating their interest in joining and why they would like to be an Affiliate Member Organization. Organizations interested in becoming Affiliate Member Organizations must designate a representative at the time of application. The letter should include the name, address, phone, fax and email of the individual or the designated representative.


Individuals interested in becoming Affiliate Members must include the following:

  • A copy of their CV or resume
  • A description of their experience and interest in public health leadership
  • An explanation of how being a member of the Network will benefit both the individual and the Network
  • A list of two references with one reference being from a public health leadership institute
