Leadership & Management Institute (LMI)
The CDC Leadership and Management Institute (LMI) is a team-based, year long leadership and management development program designed to meet the needs of senior level managers and supervisors at CDC and ATSDR. Team size ranges from 3-8 members and teams are recruited from all headquarters and field locations at CDC and ATSDR. The program consists of 3 residential learning retreats with nationally known speakers in the fields of leadership, management and public health, an individual 360 Degree leadership assessment process, team and overall class action learning projects and other learning opportunities. A tuition charge for each participant is assessed and is covered by the sponsoring organization. Participation is restricted to employees of CDC and ATSDR.
