Kentucky Public Health Leadership
Institute
This institute, which began in March
2000, is a year-long, multi-disciplinary
leadership development opportunity for
individuals involved in the Public Health
system within the state. Scholars selected
for the program complete a Change
Master action learning project and also
have the opportunity to earn both CEU’s
and course credit for some elements of
the program. KPHLI serves as a change
catalyst for both leaders and public health
entities within the state. The institute’s
goal is to strengthen the public health
system in the commonwealth of Kentucky
by improving the skills of the
professionals who administer state, regional,
and local public health systems.
