Massachusetts Regional Public
Health Leadership Forum (CDC)
The Massachusetts Regional Public
Health Leadership Forum is structured as
a series of interdisciplinary learning experiences
for members of the local public
health workforce. It currently functions as
the leadership training component of the
New England Alliance for Public Health
Workforce Development, a collaboration
among academic, practice partners and
professional associations in six states. The
goal is to enhance individual and organizational
leadership capacity. The forum is
integrated with other training efforts to
improve local public infrastructure. The
Leadership Forum provides opportunities
for state, local public health personnel,
emergency preparedness training coordinators
and others involved in statewide
workforce development to share leadership
perspectives, strategies and resources
as they relate to critical issues in meeting
local public health training needs.
