Leadership Institute for the 21st Century (Michigan)
The Institute focuses on developing the leadership capacity of public health professionals in Michigan. The program collaboratively develops onsite leadership training in Michigan. The Institute offers online courses to professionals nationally and globally. Courses emphasize a systemic approach to public health, including the intersection of health care and public health leadership, personal leadership development, and collaborative leadership skills. In addition, the Institute recruits the Michigan teams and mentors for the yearlong cohort-based leadership training of the Mid-America Regional Public Health Leadership Institute, which includes teams from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
