Academic Partners


Partnership with the KU School of Medicine has provided opportunities to improve academic capacity to exchange and develop preparedness, public health sciences, and leadership development in Kansas.


WALD partnership has provided increased opportunities to reach the Kansas public health workforce with satellite development opportunities, development and implementation of the KS Public Health Leadership Institute, and provision of the KS Public Health Certified Program.


The PMD has collaborated with HC and the Missouri AHEC to identify methods to expand broad sector workforce development, including use of HC’s Learning Management System.


The School of Nursing collaborates with HC on nursing preparedness programs and products, Learning Management System functions, and provision of nursing CEUs.


The partnership with IBS includes joint dissemination of educational programs and products and expertise brokering.


The PRC collaborates with HC to expand capacity for workforce development including the CDROM project (11 CD set) on Evidence Based Decision Making.
